18650-30P Cell Temperature Profile During High-Drain Discharge
This graph illustrates the thermal performance and temperature rise of the 18650-30P battery cell during continuous discharge at various current rates. The cell was tested across multiple discharge currents ranging from 0.6A up to a high drain of 30A, with a standard cut-off voltage of 2.5V and no temperature cut-off intervention. As the discharge rate increases, the rate of temperature rise accelerates significantly; at the maximum 30A continuous discharge, the cell temperature exceeds 110°C. Note: The baseline ambient temperature during this test was higher than 30°C, which heavily influences the overall heat accumulation.


18650-30P High Drain Rate Discharge Capacity Comparison
This performance chart illustrates the discharge voltage profiles and total deliverable capacity of the 18650-30P battery cell under varying constant current (CC) loads. Tested from a baseline of 0.6A up to a high drain of 30A, the curves demonstrate typical lithium-ion behavior: higher discharge currents result in increased voltage sag and a reduction in total usable capacity. The cell shows excellent stability, maintaining over 95% of its capacity at a 20A continuous discharge, and over 90% at 25A. At the extreme 30A continuous discharge rate, it delivers 2137.3 mAh (69.4% of its baseline capacity) before hitting the 2.5V cut-off.
