Cylindrical Battery Pack Built for Temperature-Aware Equipment
VTCBATT supplies the VTC18650WT-2S1P wide temperature cylindrical Li-ion battery pack for OEM equipment that needs a compact rechargeable 7.4V power source. Two 18650 cylindrical cells form a 2S1P assembly with 2900mAh nominal capacity, 2800mAh minimum capacity and 21.46Wh nominal energy. The complete blue-wrapped battery pack measures no more than 20.0 × 37.5 × 68.0mm and weighs 100g. Standard charging and discharging use 0.58A, with 8.4V CC/CV charging and a 5.5V discharge cut-off. Maximum current is temperature-dependent rather than a constant rating across the operating range. Cold discharge down to −40°C is limited to 0.29A, while high-temperature operation requires thermal review and a stop above 70°C cell surface temperature. An S-8252AAC-M6TIU protection IC, DP8205 MOSFET, 100±3mm leads and MOLEX/5264-2P connector support equipment integration. VTCBATT offers factory supply, sample development, OEM/ODM review, custom wiring and labeling, battery wholesale and batch-production support based on an agreed technical specification.
Compact structure, controlled operating limits and OEM integration.

2S1P Cylindrical Battery Pack
Two 18650 cylindrical cells are assembled in series inside blue PVC wrapping. The finished pack supplies 7.4V nominal with 2900mAh capacity, combining the recognizable twin-cylinder structure with a compact maximum envelope of 20.0 × 37.5 × 68.0mm. Plan the compartment around the complete pack, lead exit and connector clearance.
Cold discharge operation extends down to −40°C at 0.1C (0.29A). The permitted current rises with temperature, reaching 1C (2.9A) only above 15°C through 60°C. High-temperature operation requires engineering review, and discharge must stop when cell surface temperature exceeds 70°C. Use a temperature-aware system design; sub-zero charging is not an unconditional operating feature.
The series-connected pack provides 21.46Wh nominal energy, 2900mAh nominal capacity and 2800mAh minimum capacity under the specified 0.58A discharge to 5.5V. It uses an 8.4V CC/CV charging profile. Series connection increases voltage while pack capacity remains 2900mAh; real runtime depends on load, conversion losses and temperature.
The specified protection circuit uses the S-8252AAC-M6TIU IC and DP8205 MOSFET for overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. The pack includes 100±3mm UL1007 24AWG leads and a MOLEX/5264-2P connector. VTCBATT can review connector matching, wiring, labeling and protection requirements for OEM/ODM supply.

Is this a cylindrical battery pack or a single cell?
It is a complete 2S1P battery pack built from two 18650 cylindrical cells connected in series, with blue wrapping, protection circuitry, leads and a connector.
Does 2S1P mean 5800mAh?
No. Connecting two 2900mAh cells in series increases nominal voltage to 7.4V while capacity remains 2900mAh. Nominal energy is 21.46Wh.
What current is available at −40°C?
The specified discharge maximum is 0.1C, or 0.29A, from −40°C through −20°C. Usable capacity at −40°C is not specified and must be evaluated in the actual device.
Can the pack run continuously at 85°C?
Do not treat 85°C as an unconditional operating rating. The high-temperature current table needs application-specific engineering approval, and discharge must stop when cell surface temperature exceeds 70°C. Confirm any use above 60°C before deployment.
Can the battery charge below 0°C?
For the default design, do not charge below 0°C. A sub-zero charge profile requires written engineering clarification. Above 0°C, apply the temperature-dependent current limits shown in the charging table.
Which charger and protection circuit should the device use?
Use a compatible 2S lithium-ion CC/CV charger with an 8.4V limit and temperature-aware current control. Agree the charge-termination current during engineering review. The installed protection circuit is a backup safeguard; normal discharge should stop at 5.5V.
Is an NTC or cell balancing included?
An NTC is not specified for the standard two-wire pack, and cell balancing values are not provided. Review external temperature sensing or a customized protection design for the equipment.
Can VTCBATT customize the connector and supply bulk orders?
VTCBATT can review wiring, connector, labeling, protection and sampling requirements for OEM/ODM projects and wholesale supply. The specified warranty is 12 months from factory delivery; project-specific documentation and certification needs should be confirmed during quotation.

Active current, radio pulses and measured cold runtime
Potential applications for this cylindrical lithium-ion battery pack include remote weather stations, cold-chain data loggers, smart agriculture monitoring nodes, water-level telemetry, industrial handheld terminals, logistics trackers, outdoor wireless security sensors and low-power industrial gateways. These devices can benefit from a compact 2S1P pack and temperature-aware rechargeable power design, provided their input voltage, active current, radio pulses, charging conditions and enclosure protection are checked against the battery limits. At −40°C, design the load around the 0.29A maximum discharge current and validate usable capacity; 2900mAh is not a guaranteed cold-temperature capacity. VTCBATT works with equipment manufacturers, distributors and brand owners on connector matching, lead length, protective circuitry, labeling and sample evaluation before factory-direct wholesale and batch supply. Optional temperature-sensing requirements should be reviewed as a custom design; an installed NTC is not specified for the standard two-wire pack.
