Can your battery power multiple lights at the same time? What are the requirements?

Yes, our battery capacity is enough to power multiple lights, but the following conditions must be met:

First, the voltage must match. The operating voltage of your lamp must be within the voltage range of our battery; otherwise, the voltage will burn out if it is too high.

The second is the way the lamps are connected. Most of them are connected in parallel, which can keep the voltage at both ends of the lamps the same. Connect the positive pole of the lamp to the negative pole of the battery, and the negative pole of the lamp to the positive pole of the battery. The series connection method has an obvious disadvantage, that is, if one of the lamps is damaged, the entire circuit will be disconnected.

The third is the line specifications. The connecting wires must be thick enough, and the connectors, splitters/junction boxes must also be suitable.

Finally, it is recommended that you add protective measures: fuses, switches, battery protection boards, etc., to increase line safety.

Can your light batteries have Bluetooth?

Our large lithium-ion batteries: 12V or 20Ah or above, can be customized with Bluetooth function.

Our Bluetooth batteries have four major components: lithium cells provide energy; BMS monitors voltage, current, temperature, and protects the cells; Bluetooth modules send monitoring data to mobile phones or other devices; MCU controls Bluetooth communication and data logic. Therefore, it is suitable for application scenarios such as smart camping lights, bicycle headlights, industrial mobile lights, energy storage, or emergency light systems.

Can 3C batteries be replaced with LiPo batteries?

It is feasible to use LiPo batteries in lamps, but it needs to be considered comprehensively according to the specific usage scenarios and design requirements.

Applicable scenarios:

Portable lamps: LiPo batteries are lightweight and have high energy density, suitable for handheld/portable LED lamps, can provide longer battery life, and are easy to move.

Low temperature environment: The modified LiPo battery can maintain more than 70% of its capacity at a low temperature of -30℃, which is suitable for outdoor solar lights and other scenes in cold areas.

Issues to note:

A voltage stabilization circuit or current limiting resistor is required. A built-in protection board is required to prevent overcharging/overdischarging, and avoid expansion or fire. Avoid long-term storage without charging. It is recommended to recharge once every six months to extend the battery life. High temperature environment may accelerate aging, and it is necessary to avoid using it in confined spaces; lead-acid batteries are recommended for key scenes such as fire emergency lights.

What factory tests will you conduct?

Safety test

Check the integrity of the shell, the oxidation of the electrode, the label verification, and the withstand voltage test (leakage prevention).

Short circuit protection: simulate whether the protection board cuts off the current in time when the short circuit is simulated (≤0.1 seconds).

Overcharge voltage trigger threshold test, over-discharge voltage recovery function verification.

Performance test

Constant current discharge to the cut-off voltage, the measured capacity ≥ 95% of the nominal value.

The voltage difference of a multi-cell battery pack is ≤20mV (to prevent imbalance).

0.5C charge and discharge cycle test, efficiency ≥90%.

Environmental adaptability test

High temperature: no abnormality in full capacity discharge at 55℃.

Low temperature: after standing at -20℃ for 24 hours, the capacity is ≥70% of the nominal value.

After being stored in an environment with a relative humidity of 90% for 48 hours, the insulation resistance meets the standard.

Mechanical reliability test

Freely fall from a height of 1m to the concrete floor 3 times. The shell is not broken, and the function is normal.

Simulate the transportation environment. The electrode is not loose.

Life Assessment

Cycle life: Capacity retention rate ≥ 80% after 6000 charge and discharge cycles.

Note: Emergency lighting batteries require an additional 30-minute full-load discharge test.

We also record this data because it provides baseline measurements, recorded performance history, and documentation in case of warranty events.
