Speaker Battery

Custom Speaker Battery Manufacturer in China

As the core of speaker equipment operation, the battery will directly affect the operational stability and sound quality performance of the speaker. An unstable power supply will make the speaker produce intermittent and raspy sounds, causing impact for you or your users.

As your trusted China speaker battery supplier, our speaker battery is small in size, low in resistance, long in life, and has wide compatibility for seamless integration. These batteries are suitable for a wide range of devices, including Bluetooth headsets, stereo systems, home audio setups, and more.

All VTCBATT speaker batteries can be recharged repeatedly and can be customized. Whether it is 18650, 26650 structure, or other non-standard sizes, we can provide the speaker battery that best fits the internal space of your equipment. You don’t have to worry about their safety, are compliant with international standards such as CE and RoHS, are IP65 waterproof, and are compatible with market-leading speaker brands such as JBL and Logitech, making them the ideal power solution for speaker equipment.

High Automation Production Line Of Speaker Batteries

The standard 18650 batteries for speakers are produced on an automated line ,featuring low internal resistance, high capacity and low self-discharge. By using the best raw materials- including LiCoO₂, NCM, and PTC for explosion protection—these batteries are safe and reliable in various applications.

What types of batteries are mainly used in speakers?

There are five main types of speaker batteries on the market today: lithium-ion (Li-ion), lithium polymer (Li-Po), nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), lead-acid, and alkaline. Most mid-range and high-end speakers use Li-ion or Li-Po batteries, while the rest of the batteries are mostly found in older equipment or some special-purpose sound systems.

Lithium-ion (Li-ion) Batteries

Of all the speaker batteries available today, lithium-ion is the preferred choice of almost any AV equipment supplier. They are small, lightweight, and have a high energy density that allows portable speakers to play for hours on end. You’ll find them in both low-cost mini Bluetooth speakers and high-value wireless stereos.

Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) Batteries

While not as heavily used as lithium-ion, lithium polymer batteries have their advantages – they’re lighter, safer, and customizable in shape. You can make it slim or special shapes depending on your product’s appearance needs, making it perfect for high-end speakers that want both looks and performance.

Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batterie

NiMH batteries are stable and reliable, but their small capacity and short range make them poor performers in scenarios that require long playback times. Today they are mostly found in older equipment, entry-level speakers or on the used market.

Lead-acid batteries

They are very heavy, but the high current output is its strength. Lead-acid batteries are still active in some large sound systems, such as stage speakers and outdoor sound reinforcement equipment, because these scenarios do not require much portability, but need to run for a long time and high power.

Alkaline Batteries

They are inexpensive and readily available, but not rechargeable. Due to their short lifespan and lack of environmental friendliness, alkaline batteries are gradually withdrawing from the mainstream market and are not commonly used in speakers nowadays.

Are rechargeable batteries better than disposable batteries for speakers?

It depends on the type of speaker and how often it is used. We usually recommend rechargeable batteries for small or portable speakers. Whereas for larger, stationary speakers (systems), direct plug-in is usually a better choice, and the batteries are usually lead-acid.

What are the common sizes of speaker batteries?

Most batteries are cylindrical in structure. Common models include 18650, 21700, and 26650. We also provide Prismatic Cell and Pouch Cell Speaker Batteries to meet diverse needs.

Among them, cylindrical batteries are often used in portable speakers and are the most common speaker battery shape. Prismatic cell batteries offer higher customizability and are well-suited for audio devices with specific shape requirements. Soft-pack batteries are highly customizable and can be extremely thin and irregular, but require additional heat dissipation design. Whether you need regular-shaped speaker batteries or shaped speaker batteries, VTCBATT can provide you with matching customized solutions.

What voltage options are available for speaker batteries?

The voltage of common batteries is 3.7V (lithium-ion batteries). This voltage is not constant and is usually affected by factors such as battery type and power status. Voltage is an important factor that affects the compatibility between speaker batteries and equipment. Mismatched voltages will affect the power and battery life. Therefore, when customizing speaker batteries, choose batteries with voltages that match your equipment.

For example, our Li-ion speaker batteries are 3.7V, but when fully charged, the voltage reaches 4.2V, and at cut-off discharge, the voltage is only 2.75V.

How long do speaker batteries typically last?

In daily use, our speaker batteries can provide at least 4 hours of power for the device. If you choose lithium-ion batteries, the battery can support powered use for more than 6 hours. This is mainly due to the high energy density of lithium-ion batteries. Under the same volume, the battery life of our lithium-ion batteries can exceed 30% of other types of batteries, and all batteries have a cycle range of more than 1,000 cycles.

Normally, the service life of speaker batteries is about 3 years. However, with our optimized structural design and high-standard manufacturing process, paired with reasonable use conditions, our lithium batteries can work stably for more than 4 years, making them an ideal power solution with durability and stable performance.

What should I look for when selecting a speaker battery?

Charge Cycle and Life Time: When you pick a speaker battery you should pay attention to the life time and number of cycles of the battery according to the specification and type of your speaker product. Take lithium batteries as an example, they have a limited number of charging and discharging cycles, usually around 300-500 times.

Environmental and Recycling Limitations: When you use lead-acid batteries and alkaline batteries, please pay attention to environmental regulations and battery recycling procedures to avoid environmental pollution. When you confirm that the battery is damaged, you can contact us directly and we will send someone to your home to recycle it.
